This is a PDF download for the Dorris Hood.
This is a brightly coloured and patterned one sized hood for those colder winter months. Knitted in 100% wool, it is naturally water resistant so will also keep you dry when those downpours come.
Knitted bottom up working a 2×2 rib and then a short row shaped floating Jacquard crown the hood is knitted flat and then constructed once off the machine. A trim around the face is added with a faux i-cord that works as a drawstring.
This PDF pattern is for the standard gauge machine with either a punch card function or electronic functioning. The DAK file of the pattern is included for those with DAK.
Measurements:
Rib length: 11cm
Circumference after rib: 56cm
Height of hood (after first cast off): 28cm
Hood across: 42cm
You will need:
Standarg gauge knitting machine
Blank punch card
Hole puncher
Yarn Requirements:
Yarn used is JC Rennie coned greasy yarn, however their hand knit Supersoft is the same yarn only washed.
Yarn A - Red (Scarlet): 80g
Yarn B - Yellow (Gorse Flower): 25g
Yarn C - Green (New Lawn): 25g
Yarn D - Light Blue (Powder Blue): 40g
Yarn E - Dark Blue(New Dark Blue): 25g
Yarn F - Purple (Amaranth Mix): 25g
